I recently had a fantastic experience at Ceylon Kitchen and highly recommend it! If you're looking for an amazing Sri Lankan lunch, their buffet is an absolute must-try. The spread is generous, and every dish I tried was incredibly tasty – truly authentic flavors that hit the spot. Beyond the buffet, their à la carte menu also has some gems. We ordered a chicken corn soup from it, and it was wonderfully flavorful and comforting. The ambiance of the restaurant is really pleasant too – it's a great place to relax and enjoy your meal, whether you're dining solo or with company. What's more, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and variety of food you get. Overall, Ceylon Kitchen is an excellent spot for delicious food and a good chilling atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

We saw a few recommendations for this restaurant and decided to give it a try – overall, it was OK. The place was nice, but felt a bit more touristy. Nothing to fault the staff on – they were super friendly and helped us choose our food with some suggestions. We had egg hoppers, which came with some spicy sides – really good – and then a prawn curry with Sri Lankan rice. It tasted good, but the portion of prawns could have been more generous. On the other hand, the rice portion was big enough to leave us satisfied overall.

This lovely place has a set Sri Lankan vegetarian buffet which was fully vegan when I visited With the ventilation and fans the temperature isn't too bad, abs the food is pretty pretty good, would come again

My first and last meal in Sri Lanka. Excellent lunchtime rice and curry. I destroyed many a rice and curry buffet in my month riding my bike around Sri Lanka, but Ceylon Kitchen lands itself in my top Two. Definitely the best thing in Negombo.

We had the best Kotthu during our week long stay in Sri Lanka, here. The recommendations were nice, and the live music just added the perfect balance. The person singing was sweet enough to sing a bollywood song for his Indian audience too! Highly recommended.

If you are around Negombo, best place to have authentic Sri Lankan rice & curry. Great taste, clean and friendly staff even. Value for money. The best thing is it’s a buffet.

If you are already in the Tropical Paradise and you seek somewhere to indulge a local cousins that doesn’t pick-your-pocket, pay a visit to Ceylon Kitchen in Negambo. You’ll be amazed that this beautiful place is located in a busy area so close to the famous Negambo Beach Park, yet offer a very serene ambiance to your experience one you are in! Staff is very welcoming and the restaurant ambience is killing… most importantly, the food; no wonder it’s called the Ceylon Kitchen! Authentic Ceylon Kitchen experience and, I must say, I enjoyed my time with my family very well! Have fun & most importantly, fill your rate buds!

I recently took my family for dinner at Ceylon Kitchen and I can highly recommend it. They offer a wide variety of Sri Lankan and Chinese cuisine. We tried a lot of different food - hoppers, soup, noodles, fried rice, pork, beef and a sharing platter - everything was delicious and the portion size was very generous. The atmosphere and ambience is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful too.
